Superior council funds town halls on utility acquisition

SUPERIOR — The City Council is taking $5,000 from its Economic Development Fund to engage the community in discussion about the potential acquisition of utilities now held by Superior Water, Light & Power. The money will be used to host public informational meetings, venue and equipment costs, printed educational materials and other expenses related to informing and engaging the public on city efforts to acquire the utility.
