Summer solstice brings heat, storm chances to North Texas on longest day of year

Sunday overnight, a complex of storms, some severe, will cross the Red River around 4 a.m. and will cross I-20 around 6 a.m.

Texas Storms Still Possible as Summer Heat Builds

Summer heat is definitely here across Texas, but storms are not done with us just yet. Storms moved across parts of North Texas and Northeast Texas this morning as part of a decaying storm complex that came out of Kansas and Oklahoma.
