Iran crisis does not yet warrant emergency measures for tourism sector, EU says
European airlines have largely ridden out the crisis so far, with hedges cushioning costs even as jet fuel prices have risen nearly 84% since the US-Israeli war with Iran began on February 28.

Airline seat availability to Cyprus this summer will be reduced by “no more” than 5%, the country’s airport operator Hermes Airports has said, as the Iran war dampens the regional tourism outlook.
Cyprus tourism suffers from the consequences of the Iran war. Airport operator Hermes expects passenger numbers to decline by around nine percent in the summer.
