Sumar has announced that he will register an amendment to the Organic Law on Education, which is currently being processed in Congress, to guarantee the right to vote of descendants of exiles and to try to repeal the precautionary suspension of the Supreme Court which affects persons already registered in the Electoral Census of Absent Residents (CERA) who obtained citizenship through the so-called grandchild law.
