‘Success Sequence’ bill requiring marriage-before-children instruction advances from Indiana Senate

Senate Bill 88 requires Indiana public schools to teach the Success Sequence and mandates public colleges accept the Classic Learning Test like SAT and ACT, passing 39-9.

An education proposal to expand Indiana’s required “good citizenship” instruction to include high school completion, full-time employment and marriage passed the Senate on Thursday but drew opposition from Democrats.
