Eflal Keskin, a 15-year-old undergoing scoliosis treatment in Trabzon, developed a system to solve her walking and balance problems by placing accelerometer sensors in the soles of her shoes and alerting her with vibrations when she steps unevenly. Her project, which won third place in the TÜBİTAK competition in Türkiye, achieved an 80% success rate in 10 patients.
