The summer takes a break – and it is severe. Thunderstorms, heavy rains and hail move over Bavaria, the temperatures fall.
The heat wave is coming to an end nationally on Thursday, but this change in air mass is accompanied by a sharp deterioration in weather. Sometimes severe thunderstorms are expected on the southern half, especially in the south-east.
After the summery Wednesday it becomes uncomfortable in southern Bavaria. The DWD expects on Thursday with partly heavy thunderstorms, hail and heavy rain.
