A storm cell that moved rapidly inland from the west of the country on Friday evening tore off several roofs and toppled several trees. Regional centers recorded 26 events overnight, most in the Nova Gorica area. In Cerkno, the wind tore off the roofs of five buildings, and in Tolmin, two residential buildings and a commercial building.
The worst was apparently in the Cerkno and Tolmin areas, where the wind was blowing off roofs, and downed trees were reported from almost the entire country.
