US Stocks Rise as the Bond Market's Big Swings Ease a Bit

Most companies reported stronger-than-expected spring profits, helping drive the stock market's recent run to records. His retailer saw "new customer interest" and benefited from tariff refunds, Conroy said.
Across Asia and Europe, global markets followed the positive trend. Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 1.2%, and South Korea's Kospi climbed 0.9%, contributing to two of the world's bigger moves.
