Stettler fire department investigates suspicious blaze at empty home - The Stettler Independent

The Stettler Fire Department attended a late-night structure fire May 2. Just before midnight, the department was dispatched to a home on 47 Avenue. On arrival, the structure was found fully engulfed and crews set to work putting out the blaze. While the fire was quickly brought under control, crews remained on scene until around 6 a.m., ensuring hot spots were put out so the fire wouldn’t reignite.
