Massachusetts officials welcomed an appeals court decision earlier this month that allows Haitians to live and work in the state with Temporary Protected Status while a case is resolved in court. For the past several weeks, a group of Haitians has challenged attempts by the Department of Homeland Security to terminate Temporary Protected Status for Haiti, a move that would partially eliminate their authorization to work in the United States.
