St. Michaels Police Chief says salaries need to be raised for officer recruitment, retention

ST. MICHAELS — During the St. Michaels Commissioners meeting on Wednesday, St. Michaels Police Chief Jeffrey Oswald said the police department will lose an 18-year veteran officer to another municipality. The officer, he said, is leaving for better pay.
