The Samajwadi Party (SP) has begun preparations to corner the BJP government on the issue of government schools in Uttar Pradesh. The Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha will launch a "Student, Youth, and PDA Awareness Campaign" from September 5th to 11th. As part of this "Pathshala Pukare" campaign, teacher recognition programs will be held outside closed primary and junior high schools.
On Teachers' Day, the Samajwadi Party launched a PDA school campaign in 75 districts. Akhilesh Yadav claimed that 26,000 primary schools were closed. The party demanded the reopening of these closed schools.
