Speedboat killer Jack Shepherd jailed again for 20 months for attacking woman
The 39-year-old pleaded guilty to two assault charges and property damage after attacks in February and June last year, prosecutors said.
- On Monday, Jack Shepherd was sentenced to 20 months imprisonment plus four years on extended licence at Isleworth Crown Court, following guilty pleas to two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage.
- In February 2025, Shepherd admitted pinning down the woman and "punching her several times, causing bruising to her arm and top of leg," then in June 2025 struck her with barbecue tongs on her chest, causing a permanent scar.
- Shepherd previously received a 10-year manslaughter sentence in 2018 following the death of 24-year-old Charlotte Brown, whose speedboat crashed on the River Thames during their first date.
- These assaults triggered Shepherd's recall to prison in September last year; Judge Martin Edmunds noted the law prevented adding more time to his existing sentence.
- Shepherd was previously jailed for four years at Exeter Crown Court in 2019 for a drink-fuelled attack on a barman in Newton Abbot, Devon on March 16, 2018.
