In South Sudan, a humanitarian tragedy is taking place at low noise, far from sight, especially in Akobo, north-east of Jonglei, near the Ethiopian border. It is shocking images of extremely undernourished babies that have been circulating in recent days that alerted the opinion about the situation in Akobo and in Tiergol, on the other side of the Ethiopian border, where many South Sudanese have taken refuge.
