Sony's New ULT TOWER Speakers Want to Headline Your Next Rave
The lineup adds a $450 entry model and tops out at $1,500, with wireless, XLR and USB inputs for party sound.
On Tuesday, Sony announced three new additions to its ULT Tower party speaker line, ranging from the compact Tower 5 to the mid-sized Tower 7 and massive Tower Max.
Replacing legacy models like the Tower 10, SRS-XV800, and SRS-XV500, the new series expands the ULT Power Sound lineup with updated designs and deeper, more powerful bass performance.
Pricing starts at $450 for the Tower 5, $650 for the Tower 7, and reaches $1,500 for the Tower Max, with all three featuring USB-C, XLR, and RCA inputs.
The new Party Chain feature uses Auracast broadcast technology to synchronize multiple speakers, while the Tower 7 and Tower 5 include an IPX4 water-resistance rating for outdoor use.
Tuned with feedback from hip-hop sound creators including Grammy-nominated producer Dot Da Genius and award-winning drummer Daru Jones, the speakers are available now at major retailers.
