AP-NORC Poll Shows Slipping Trump Support Among Hispanics, Younger Adults and Men
The AP-NORC survey of 2,596 adults shows Trump’s approval falling to 28% among Americans under 45 and 38% among men.
A new AP-NORC poll of more than 2,500 U.S. adults conducted April 16-20 finds significant dissatisfaction with President Donald Trump among Hispanic adults, younger adults, and men.
Economic approval slumped over the past month as the Iran war drove prices higher, contributing to a 16 percentage-point decline in Hispanic support since March 2025.
Younger adults' approval of Trump slid to 28% in the latest poll, while American men's support declined to 38% since the start of his second term.
While MAGA Republicans remain loyal, about 54% of Republicans identify as MAGA supporters, whereas Trump's approval among non-MAGA Republicans sits at just 44%.
On immigration, only 18% of younger Hispanic adults approve of Trump's tactics, compared with 40% of Americans overall, highlighting policy resistance among a group he gained in 2024.
