AKRON, Ohio – The #3 seed RedHawks (38-17, 19-9) took on the first round of the MAC tournament, falling to #6 seed Western Michigan (26-24, 15-12) 7-4. As a result, Miami took on #5 Central Michigan in the elimination bracket and fell out of the tournament, losing 7-3.
