France: Exhausted by Historic Fires and a Lack of Resources, Firefighters Go on Strike

Following the historic fires of the summer, the firefighters' unions have issued a notice of a national strike from September 8 to October 20, 2026. The social movement aims to denounce the lack of concrete measures in the management of departmental fire and rescue services (SDIS).
