On Tuesday, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Panic actor Camron Jones is slated to play Tupac Shakur in Universal Pictures' upcoming biopic, Snoop.
Actress Lauren London will portray Snoop Dogg's mother, Beverly Tate, joining a growing cast that includes Myles Bullock as Dr. Dre.
Craig Brewer is directing the feature based on his rewrite of Joe Robert Cole's original script, produced by Snoop Dogg alongside Imagine Entertainment's Brian Grazer and Death Row Pictures president Sara Ramaker.
Universal Pictures scheduled the release for August 6, 2027, marking the first project under Death Row Pictures' overall deal with NBCUniversal Entertainment.
