Slovakia is ordering four more F-16 D Block 70 American-made fighter-bombers, and the relevant contracts must be concluded by the Slovak Ministry of Defense by the end of this year. The document envisaging this was approved by the Bratislava government at its meeting on Wednesday.
The Slovak government has approved the purchase of four more American F-16 Block 70 fighters. The package, including armament, training, spare parts and service support, is expected to cost approximately 9.43 billion crowns. The aircraft will join the already ordered fleet of 14 aircraft and are expected to be delivered by the end of 2030.
Delivery could take place by 2030.
In addition to the order that has already been partially received, Slovakia is purchasing four more F-16 fighter-bombers. Payments for the aircraft will be made until 2030.
