Sky Announces Relaunch of 'Iconic' Channel as 2 Channels Axed in Major 2026 Shakeup
Sky One returns on channel 106, consolidating shows from Sky Showcase and Sky Max with new originals and comedy, available to Sky Ultimate TV and Signature customers.
- On February 24, 2026 Sky will relaunch Sky One on channel 106, replacing Sky Showcase and Sky Max.
- Describing the plan as a restoration of an "iconic" brand, Sky framed the move as bringing entertainment together, and Carli Kerr, MD of Sky TV & NOW TV, said the aim is to make it easier for Sky TV customers to find and enjoy shows.
- Programming for the revived channel will include The Dyers' Caravan Park, Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby, Rob & Romesh Vs., The Paper, Ted, and SNL UK later this year.
- Sky Ultimate TV, Sky Signature and Sky+ customers will get access to Sky One, and Sky is reshuffling channel numbers across Sky Q and Sky Glass/Stream while moving favourites from Sky Showcase and Sky Max.
