On International Women’s Day, Sunday, March 8, the League of Women Voters of South Central Texas celebrated its fourth annual Women Making History event at the Historic Casino Hall in La Grange. The afternoon honored six exceptional women from across the five-county region and celebrated four outstanding young writers whose essays and poems brought the stories of heroic Texas women to life.
