The discovery of, among other things, 20,000 kilos of heavy fireworks in a German bunker earlier this year has led to six arrests in the Netherlands and Germany. Among them are two main suspects who, according to the police, sold large quantities of fireworks from Germany to intermediaries in the Netherlands.
Six suspects were arrested in a long trial for illegal fireworks trafficking. 20 tons were in a bunker in Borken County.
The East Netherlands police have arrested six suspects in a long-term investigation into trading in heavy fireworks, which is prohibited. During the investigation, more than 22,000 kilos of heavy fireworks were found.
