A chain pest control company in Xiamen, Fujian Province, was recently exposed for using the powerful insecticide "Dichlorvos" to disinfect dozens of well-known chain restaurants in an effort to save costs. They were even found spraying Dichlorvos directly on tableware, tables, and chairs. Following the exposure of the incident, on August 30, local authorities announced that six people, including the company owner, had been criminally detained.
