The festival of Rakshabandhan was celebrated in an emotional atmosphere at the Deoria District Jail on Friday. From 8 a.m. onwards, a large number of women and children began arriving to meet their imprisoned brothers. By 12:30 p.m., approximately 500 women and children had been allowed to meet the prisoners.
