Simon Baker has become the 37th member of Cordele Boy Scout Troop 270 to earn the rank of Eagle Scout. He is the 77th Eagle Scout in the more than 113-year history of Scouting in Crisp County. Eagle Scout is the highest rank awarded by Scouting America. Gene Espy of Troop 40 was Crisp County’s first Eagle Scout, in 1943.
