KINGSTON, N.Y. — A portable propane heater used to heat Signature Fitness caused a fire there on Tuesday morning, a fire official said. Reached by phone Tuesday, Feb. 3, Deputy Chief James Brunner of the Kingston Fire Department said a door adjacent to the heater caught fire at about 7:45 a.m. The blaze was contained to the door, Brunner said.
