Sybiha, Kallas agree steps to ensure operation of Black Sea maritime corridor
During a conversation with European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha coordinated further joint steps to ensure the stable operation of the Ukrainian maritime corridor in the Black Sea and the continued the supply of Ukrainian food to global markets.
Ukraine and the EU are coordinating further steps for the stable operation of the sea corridor in the Black Sea and the Parties have also discussed the strengthening of air defences and new sanctions against Russia.
The minister also called for tougher sanctions against the production of Russian ballistic missiles and its “ecosystem”.
Ukraine and Europe agree on joint measures to protect the Grain Corridor in the Black Sea, which Russia is trying to disrupt, as reported by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrei Sibiga.
