Shuswap RCMP applauds witnesses who extinguished vehicle fire after crash - The Similkameen Spotlight

A crash and subsequent vehicle fire was kept from going up in smoke thanks to the quick actions of witnesses on scene. At approximately 3:57 p.m. on March 27, Chase RCMP responded to a motor-vehicle incident in the 7000 block of the Trans-Canada Highway, a few kilometres outside the village where a witness reported seeing a vehicle go over an embankment.
