Asante Samuel Takes Sly Dig at Shedeur Sanders over Browns QB Graduating From Colorado University
Sanders finished his sociology degree with a 3.9 GPA and now returns to Browns training camp for a quarterback competition.
On Saturday, Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders returned to the University of Colorado Boulder to officially receive his Bachelor of Arts in sociology, joining fellow graduates at Folsom Field.
Much of his coursework was completed online, an approach frequently emphasized by his father, Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion 'Coach Prime' Sanders, during his time with the program.
The quarterback finished his studies with a 3.9 GPA, reflecting strong academics alongside his athletic legacy that included 7,364 career passing yards and 64 passing touchdowns at Colorado.
Sanders delayed his ceremony until after completing his rookie year; he was selected in the 2025 NFL Draft by the Browns and now prepares for his second season.
Colorado solidified his legacy by retiring his jersey number during the 2025 spring game, strengthening a bond Sanders maintains with the Buffaloes despite his professional commitments in Cleveland.
