Ängelholm (Sweden) - The Czech hockey players will play in today's opening match at the Swedish Games in Ängelholm against the home team with Dominik Pavlát from Ilves Tampere in goal, who joined the team after the Czech Games (Fortuna Hockey Ganes) in České Budějovice. Josef Kořenář will cover his back on the bench. Assistant coach Jiří Kalous told reporters after the start of the game.
Czech hockey players had to cancel today's training in preparation for the Swedish Games in Ängelholm due to a hole in the ice on one of the two training areas in Catena Arena. They trained there on Tuesday afternoon and will not take to the ice again until Thursday morning's ice skating before the evening start of the tournament against home team Sweden (19:00).
