Shafaq News..Israel kills two Islamic Jihad commanders in Gaza
On Saturday, the IDF struck Gaza City and killed two Palestinian Islamic Jihad commanders: Ahmed Mahmoud Harb al-Ramlawi of the Al-Shujaiya Battalion and Munir Ibrahim al-Masri, head of an anti-tank missile cell.
The Israeli military accused both men of systematically violating the October 2025 ceasefire agreement and working to restore the organization's military capabilities, though Islamic Jihad did not comment on the allegations.
A separate strike shortly after midnight Friday killed five Palestinians, including four women, while Army Radio reported a failed attempt to eliminate Hamas commander Ali al-Amoudi in western Gaza City.
Since the ceasefire began, continued Israeli air, artillery and naval strikes have killed 1,445 Palestinians and wounded 5,072, with Gaza's Health Ministry reporting 74,228 deaths and 175,188 injuries since October 7, 2023.
Trump's national security aides met secretly at Camp David on Saturday to discuss the Iran war and Yemen strategy, as Saudi Arabia launched more than 90 attacks on Houthi positions within 24 hours and Senator Jeff Merkley said the Senate will vote before December 13 on Trump's nuclear pact with Saudi Arabia.
The Israeli army tried to kill Ali al-Amudi, a senior Hamas representative, but, according to a hospital in Gaza, four women died during the airstrike.
