German customs authorities are still unable to seize a tanker loaded with Russian oil that suffered an accident in the Baltic Sea last year because the expedited proceedings have been suspended.
Since the beginning of last year, the damaged "eventin" in the Baltic Sea has duffled in front of Rügen. Since then, the shadow fleet tanker has occupied the authorities, a possible confiscation is in the room. But it will not exist - not yet.

Since January 2025, the tanker "Eventin" with almost 100,000 tons of Russian oil has been on board in front of the island of Rügen. At first, nothing will change about this. The Finanzgericht Hamburg has declared two urgent proceedings in agreement with the Federal Customs Administration.
