GE Vernova of the US, Hitachi of Japan, Samsung C&T of South Korea and SGE of Poland have signed a cooperation agreement to jointly distribute the BWRX-300 small modular nuclear reactor in Central and Eastern Europe and Great Britain, the companies announced. The projects in the region will be led by SGE of Poland, which also signed a letter of intent in Hungary last year to prepare for the construction of up to ten such reactors.

Synthos Green Energy, GE Vernova, Hitachi and Samsung C&T have signed an agreement to deploy small modular reactors (SMRs) in Europe, the US State Department announced.
