Sewer discharge reported at wastewater treatment plant

The city of Breckenridge announced that there was a sanitary sewer discharge at the wastewater treatment plant and a report filed with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.A sanitary sewer overflow occurred at the wastewater treatment plant to resolve a clogged sludge line in the clarifier. City crews had to unclog the sludge line which called for the shutdown and draining of partially treated water from the clarifier.
