A SPECIAL service will be held on Sunday to mark the anniversary of the UDR man killed by the IRA in Tyrone. Winston Donnell was shot dead whilst part of a UDR checkpoint near the village of Clady on August 9, 1971. The 22-year-old was the first UDR member killed during the Troubles but no one has ever been charged in connection with his murder.
