Dialect organizations from Belgian and Dutch Limburg commemorated Limburg Day on both sides of the Itterbeek in Kinrooi. This is the day on which the two Limburgs were split 187 years ago. They did so with music, poetry, and speeches, all, of course, in the Limburg dialect. As a grand finale, a special inter-Limburg flag was hoisted at Borgitter Castle, the inspiration for the Limburg anthem.
