Selectmen ask for patience following New Vineyard resignations

The resignations halted financial and clerk services, forcing selectmen to hire an interim clerk and seek part-time help to restore operations before the March 28 town meeting.

The town clerk and deputy town clerk resigned last week, leaving the municipality unable to collect or spend money. An interim clerk has since been hired.
