The Mallorcan writer Sebastiá Alzamora has won the National Poetry Prize 2026 with his work ‘Sala Augusta seguit de Llengua maternal’ (Proa).
The jury notes that his book “Sala Augusta” follows from “Mother tongue” “trenches with mastery collective history and family intimacy”
