70-year-old Nezir Atak, an Alzheimer's patient, went missing after leaving his home in Serik district of Antalya on August 19th. AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Authority), gendarmerie, and search and rescue teams have been working to find Atak for two days. He was last seen on the D-400 highway, reportedly wanting to visit his daughter. Search efforts are concentrated in the direction of Antalya Airport.
