- Uzma warned that further delay could cause "serious and irreparable harm" to the former prime minister, whose health is reportedly deteriorating while he remains incarcerated at Adiala Jail.
- Separately, The Islamabad High Court rejected pleas from other prisoners seeking treatment at private facilities, reaffirming that inmates lack a fundamental right to choose specific government or private hospitals.
