Karnataka's petition filed by the Cauvery River Protection Committee has been dismissed in the Supreme Court. The petition, which sought transfer of 70.91 TMC of Tamil Nadu's share of water to Karnataka, was dismissed by a bench of Justices Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta. The Supreme Court has held that there is no end to considering the petitions of organizations in disputes between states.
