Ambedkar Nagar: The continuous rise in the Saryu river's water level has increased the risk of flooding in the district. According to the daily flood report released by the Irrigation Department, the Ghaghra/Saryu river's water level at Tanda Pump Canal, Mahripur, was recorded at 85.55 meters at 6 pm on Wednesday, August 19. This is just 0.5 meters below the river's danger mark of 85.56 meters.
