Sandy Springs neighbors raise concerns over synagogue move

Some residents off Long Island Drive say variances requested for a Sandy Springs synagogue could bring traffic, overflow parking, noise and congregation growth to their protected neighborhood. Kesher Torah, an Orthodox congregation, wants to move to 4930 Long Island Terrace and needs relief from distance requirements. The Board of Appeals meets Oct. 1.
