Sanding back the town’s history

Despite some rain early this week, Mick Slocum was able to breathe new life into Portarlington’s Victorian-era pillar box. The Ascot Vale man made the trip to the town on March 16 and 17 to restore the cast-iron box located in front of Portarlington’s Old Mill.
