A new My FanCam tool can automatically track a selected person in recorded footage, keeping them centred as the scene moves. Samsung says the feature is designed to simplify the creation of social media clips from performances, sporting events and other moving scenes. Samsung is also adding Warranty and Care controls that allow owners to check coverage across connected devices, run diagnostics, view estimated repair costs, manage Samsung Care+ and book service appointments. Now Nudge uses contextual information to suggest relevant actions without requiring users to leave their current app. Samsung said it could, for example, surface reservation details or save a shared location while plans are being discussed in a message thread. Creative Studio can suggest image-generation projects based on upcoming occasions, while Interpreter adds a Thread View for revisiting earlier translations. Samsung also claims faster Conversation Mode translation and reduced playback delays through compatible Galaxy Buds. Document Scan has been upgraded to better handle curved book pages and folded corners, while an improved Finger Eraser is intended to produce cleaner digital copies. Voice Recorder summaries now use headings and tables to make information easier to navigate. Security Brief will bring malware warnings, unknown app alerts and permission issues into Now Brief. Privacy Alerts will use on-device AI to identify potentially unnecessary background permission requests. Samsung is also expanding its scam-call detection feature to additional markets and languages, although Australian availability will depend on the supported device, language and region.
