Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Camera Mystery Deepens as Leakers Clash over New Render
- Following an influx of early case leaks, reputable leaker Steve 'OnLeaks' Hemmerstoffer shared on X what they claim is the most 'up to date and accurate' rear camera configuration for the upcoming Galaxy S27 Ultra.
- Leaker Ice Universe analyzed four different third-party case iterations circulating across China's supply chains, with initial cases lacking cutouts for secondary elements and sparking speculation that Samsung had dropped the Laser AutoFocus sensor.
- However, Ice Universe responded to the new render claiming 'updated information from an authoritative source' indicates the camera sits at the bottom, with the flash positioned above it. This contradicts earlier case interpretations.
- CAD renders often miss finer details, especially components flush with the body, so accessory makers may have opted for broad cutouts rather than accurate hardware placement. Notably, OnLeaks points out that third-party cases completely missed the rear microphone cutout.
- Until Samsung officially reveals the Galaxy S27 Ultra, these leaks should be treated as clues rather than confirmation. Consumers will get a better idea of the Galaxy S27 series closer to its launch early next year.
