- Samsung launched the Galaxy S26 FE in India, starting at ₹69,999. This represents a ₹10,000 increase over the Galaxy S25 FE, despite retaining similar core hardware like the triple-camera setup and 4,900mAh battery.
- The handset features the Exynos 2500 processor, a 3nm chipset offering improved power efficiency over the Exynos 2400. Samsung also refreshed the design with Pistachio, Blueberry, and Graphite finishes while maintaining an IP68 rating.
- While the 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display offers a 120Hz refresh rate, critics note that camera and storage hardware remain largely unchanged from the S25 FE, complicating the value proposition at the ₹69,999 price.
- To offset the higher cost, Samsung provides ₹7,000 cashback and various EMI plans. Buyers can access 12-month no-cost EMI options or choose 18-month bank plans when purchasing directly through Samsung's e-store.
- Running on One UI 9 based on Android 17, the Galaxy S26 FE is promised seven years of software and security updates. This long-term support aims to maintain the device's relevance in the premium smartphone segment.
