Nuts Sold at Wegmans Recalled over Potential Salmonella Contamination

On December 8, 2025, Wegmans Food Markets recalled mixed nuts and Locatelli Grated Pecorino Cheese due to contamination concerns reported across its stores.
Routine supplier testing found one lot of raw pistachios positive for Salmonella, prompting Mellace Family Brands California Inc., Warren, Ohio, to issue the recall Dec. 5.
The recalled products include Wegmans Deluxe Mixed Nuts Unsalted, 34‑ounce tub UPC 077890421314 and 11.5‑ounce bag UPC 077890421352, sold Nov. 3 to Dec. 1, 2025.
Wegmans urged customers to not eat the recalled nuts, as Salmonella can cause fever and diarrhea, and Listeria can cause serious infections or miscarriages, and to return for a full refund. Wegmans Food Markets customer service can be reached at-855-934-3663.
So far, no illnesses linked to the recalled cheese lots have been reported, and Wegmans said all lot codes for the grated cheese sold in plastic tubs were recalled and removed from shelves after the Nov. 14–24 sales window.
